The almost 3-hour movie takes you on an engaging ride with the main character, Yûsuke Kafuku, and his screenwriter wife, Oto. The movie won three awards at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival and also received a nomination for the Best International Feature Film at the 2021 Oscars!

Anyone and everyone watched the amazing third act from Marvel’s Spiderman film franchise. Without spoiling too much, in case you haven’t watched it, the movie delivers moment after moment of incredible scenes for both movie and comic book lovers alike! With characters returning from the first spider-man trilogy from the 2000s and even some returning from The Amazing Spider-man franchise, it was a great movie for Spiderman lovers of all generations!

Encanto
Encanto was Disney’s latest musical released in 2021. The movie is about the Madrigal family, an extraordinary family that lives in Colombia with magical powers. It follows Mirabel, the youngest daughter of the family, who, unlike every other family member of the Madrigal’s, never received her magical powers.
The characters are voiced by Stephanie Beatriz, Mauro Castillo, and Maluma. Jared Bush and Byron Howard directed the film. It is a great movie that features a few precious life lessons for kids!
The Lost Daughter
One of the best psychological dramas in recent years, The Lost Daughter, follows a college professor on vacation in Italy. Her vacation soon takes a dark turn after meeting a woman and her daughter, when she starts confronting her past.
The movie was adapted from Elena Ferrante’s 2006 novel with the same name and was directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal. It features stars like Olivia Colman, Dakota Johnson, Ed Harris, and Peter Sarsgaard. The Lost Daughter won the Best Screenplay Award at the Venice Film Festival Awards.
