Woman Spreads Happiness: Sticky Notes Bring Smiles To Walmart Shoppers

It’s no secret that retail employees work extremely hard, especially during the craziness of the last few years. Often, we take all that they do for granted. Amy Cook, an Ohio native, recognized that and wanted to do something about it. 

We’ve all encountered computer malfunctions in the past. When programs are acting out of line, there’s usually a simple solution to fix them. Uninstall and reinstall it! Easy, right? Or, if it’s a PC, you turn it off and turn it back on (if only we could do that with life).

During specific times of the year, sneezing is a common occurrence for a lot of people. But, due to the circumstances of the last few years, whenever you hear a sneeze you likely do a double-take. It’s even worse in public places. 

We all are familiar with the term “social distancing” these days. In fact, it’s become a common term in our everyday lingo and daily lives. But, at times, it’s difficult to judge the distance properly, or maybe people are just lazy. Amy is trying to fix this problem! 

Suffering from allergies is one of the worst agitations to deal with, specifically on a daily basis. Unfortunately, many of the symptoms of allergies are similar to another highly contagious thing. With this note, Amy is plainly speaking the truth and we love her for it.

Being confined within the walls of your home for months surely drove you crazy. Naturally, you’re likely to come up with some off-the-cuff ideas. But, storming Area 51 to see if they really are storing extraterrestrial beings is one of the wackiest things (especially if you tried to follow through with it). 

All of us probably loved the Jumanji movies, but we didn’t ask to be the lead characters in a live-action version. Needless to say, Amy has the right idea with this note. We’d love to see someone roll doubles and actually complete the game.

Parents were truly one of the big heroes of 2020 because of the global situation. They had to take on teacher roles, not just parenting ones. This big shift proved how much teachers were truly dealing with on a daily basis.

We all recall when a toilet paper shortage was something to worry about, leaving people with some important decisions to make. One of these decisions was to decide whether or not they should consume fiber-rich foods, such as beans, for dinner.

Traveling can be pretty fun. You don’t necessarily have to abide to societal norms and rules. Sleeping in later and doing things you wouldn’t normally do (enjoying a drink early in the day), become acceptable. Hey, when you’re cooped up at home, time feels different, so standard rules don’t really apply.

Grocery shopping can be fun, but it can also be stressful. When you’re staring at an item wondering if you should get the small or big bottle, you could be standing there for so long trying to make a decision. Due to being financially responsible, the small bottle would probably win. 

It’s hard to understand the motives behind the people who were hoarding toilet paper back in the day. But, we also weren’t in their exact position. Amy’s hilarious note reminds hoarders that there’s another option. 

Despite the fact that you are extremely cautious (and a major germaphobe) when it comes to washing your hands, we’re sure that the last few years have altered your outlook on the whole thing. At least for us, it was challenging at first.

We’ve all probably been at that point in our lives where something isn’t working out in a certain relationship and we need to break it off. The past couple of years certainly gave everybody an out, especially when there were stay-at-home orders in place.

If you wanted to have friends over during quarantine, that was probably a big challenge and definitely took a hit on your social life. The CDC was putting a huge damper on all of the social events we were looking forward to, but it was all for a solid reason. 

Lasagna probably isn’t the best thing for cats to eat, but this note would certainly make anybody smile and give out a small chuckle. Who doesn’t love a tubby Garfield kitty with some attitude?

As we all know, people had to get very creative when faced with the infamous toilet paper shortage. Trying to find even one roll of toilet paper was a challenge and there was no guarantee that you actually would. Amy certainly called out that person!

Sometimes humor can be dark. It doesn’t always have to be light, fluffy, and cute. Amy tried to mix things up in the freezer section, but her intentions appeared a bit darker than expected. The person who saw that note may have been a tad put off. 

When we were all cooped up inside, we barely saw the sun and didn’t do anything. Many of us suffer from dry skin and Amy had to remind us of what lotion is actually used for. We’re positive she wanted to reference Gollum’s famous line “My precious” from Lord of the Rings. 

During quarantine, all of the days blended together and we didn’t know which day was which. That’s what happens when you’re confined to your home and have nowhere to go and nothing to do. You do the same thing every day and go to bed expecting it will be different the next morning. That’s called insanity, people. 

Rivalries are a common theme in the world of sports. Amy clearly feels some type of way about the Michigan State Wolverines. The best note writer ever used her famous sticky notepad to convey a rather brutal message about the team. 

Toilet paper wasn’t the only hard thing to find in stores, so was milk. For big dairy fans, there was always an abundance of chocolate milk on the shelves. You can still get some vitamins and enjoy the yummy taste. 

Most people in this world have hopefully seen the classic Tom Hanks’ movie Cast Away. If they hadn’t watched it before, then quarantine was the perfect time to do it. Surely, the movie was relatable because he needed to befriend an inanimate object

We can all agree that time seemed to drag on forever during the pandemic. Most people probably stayed at home, waiting for somebody to give them the thumbs up that it was alright to leave their homes and enjoy life again.

Wow, Amy really dealt with a lot of toilet paper shortages and had to get creative with her notes. We understand that completely because it was anxiety-inducing and scary to not locate any essential items at the store.

2020 and 2021 were the primary years where people had to put their lives on hold due to the lockdowns. With that being said, it’s a shared feeling amongst most people that the last two years were a total waste and should be put in the garbage. 

During the height of the pandemic, there were so many rules regarding people gathering for family events or any social event. So, these classic doormats and welcome signs wouldn’t be looked at the same way. 

According to statistics, the amount of time that people spend on their devices just keeps rising every year. It’s understandable because when you have nothing else to do, of course you’re going to spend most of your days on your phone playing games or scrolling through social media. 

Across the world, there are a host of programs targeted towards helping people say no to ilelgal substances. This idea could be solid and potentially help many, many folks who are struggling. Surely, everybody loves chicken nuggets (not vegetarians, but they have their own version of nugs). 

During quarantine many of us probablyslumped in bed scrolling through YouTube and watched as many viral videos as possible. Of course, these videos made us bust up with laughter and we remember all of the memorable lines.
