Nine times out of ten if you’re going to look like someone it’s most likely the people who made you. Usually, your mom and dad are to blame for your colored eyes and facial structure and we are all familiar with those famous mother-daughter or father-son look-alike duos. Plus if your family has an impressively long career to match then these pairs are some of the most iconic in Hollywood. But let’s not forget before the parents come the grandparents and these grandchildren’s resemblance to them are uncanny.

Here are some of the most iconic grandparents and grandchildren who look so much alike that they could easily be their grandparents from when they were young. It doesn’t get more easily recognizable than this and these families surely see the level of resemblance, do you? How could you not!

Charlie Chaplin and James Thierree

Charlie Chaplin was arguably one of the most recognizable faces in film history. He is best known for his on-screen character, The Tramp, which is considered one of the most memorable and iconic characters in film history.

James Thierry received a similar flare for the theater world and is mostly known for his blend of circus, dance, and theater. He has created various shows, such as “Tabac Rouge” (2014), which combine circus, dance, and theater elements.

Clark Gable and Clark James Gable

Clark Gable was a renowned actor who appeared in popular films like Gone with the Wind and It Happened One Night. Clark’s success also helped him in the dating world, eventually leading him to have a grandson with similar features.

Clark James Gable inherited not only his grandfather’s good looks but also his acting skills. He served as a host for Cheaters and was also featured in a few modeling magazines. Unfortunately, Clark James Gable passed away in 2019 at the young age of 30 from an overdose.

Paul McCartney is a top musician and a member of The Beatles. Arthur Donald is his oldest grandchild, born in England on April 3, 1999. Arthur is the son of photographer Mary McCartney and her ex-husband, Alistair Donald.

Arthur Donald has been in a romantic relationship with Phoebe Gates, the daughter of Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates. The couple seemingly made their relationship “Instagram official” in early October 2023, when Phoebe shared a photo of them in Paris, with the Eiffel Tower in the background.

Bob Dylan and Pablo Dylan

Bob Dylan is a legendary musician and songwriter, while Pablo Dylan is his grandson, born to Bob’s oldest son, Jesse Dylan. He has been a major figure in popular culture for over 60 years. Dylan has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and has influenced numerous musicians and artists.

Pablo Dylan initially started his music career as a hip-hop artist, considering his grandfather to be “the Jay-Z of his time.” However, he later transitioned to folk-rock music.

Marlon Brando and Tuki Brando
